"I get up at 6:15, and the first thing I do is thank God for the day I'm going to have, and praise Him for it. Then, its off to exercises. When it is warm we run a mile; otherwise, we exercise in the gym. Dorm duties come next: clean up my sleeping area, and the dorm in general. At 7:00, we have breakfast. The girls cook, we all eat, and the guys do dishes. We all do a lot of 'growing' on dish crew."

"At 8:00 is devotions, with chapel on Thursday morning. I really like devotions. We get together and pray for about 15 minutes, and then we sing to the Lord and rejoice. Chapel lets us all come together to worship God."

"The rest of the morning (9 a.m. to 12 noon) is spent in classes. Newcomers to SWTC have individual lessons to work on, including scripture memorization and learning character qualities to implement in our lives. That really helps to open my mind and burn it into my heart. We also complete a 13-week course for new Christians, with such classes as Christian practices, anger and personal rights, temptation, faith, attitudes, and so on."

"The purpose of these classes, which focus on inter-personal relationships, responsibility, resolving conflict, etc., is to give us basic living skills and a practical foundation for applying and living out God's Word. We have opportunity to do this through the disciplined schedule and structure of the program, especially the work areas (vocational)."

"Once we complete the individual courses (Basic Training), we go to Advanced Training, where we learn more in-depth material. The advanced division has a regular Bible college curriculum, with 1-month intensive courses. There's nothing like feeding on God's Word."

"At 12 noon, we break for lunch. The girls do the dishes, so the guys can go out on work crews. They work around the center, or in the community, such as landscaping for an apartment complex, or cutting firewood for sale during the winter. That's a blast and real good exercise. The girls work in baby-sitting, housecleaning or in the kitchen."

"There's a tremendous therapy in work which most of us have never known. We learn accountability, cooperation, management, discipline, and social responsibility. We learn that full-time Christian work is not just standing behind a pulpit, but is our day-to-day walk with the Lord. It's a 24-hour-a-day calling. And the vocation of every Christian, regardless of his particular job, is to develop a life-message of God's grace that is a witness to the world. All work, blue collar or white, is just as important as one another--it's all church work if it furthers the kingdom. SWTC is truly a School of Life."

"A cow-bell summons us to dinner at 5:15 p.m.. After supper, the schedule varies, but usually, there is about 2 1/2 hours of study time. At 10:30 p.m., it's lights out and at 11:15p.m., everyone should be in bed."

"We also have Sunday services. We have pastors, evangelists, missionaries, and laymen and women come as special speakers, and the worship, praise and music is second to none!"
